Description: Monogram "AV", found mainly in volumes kept in Turin's Biblioteca Nazionale Universitaria. The precise meaning of the inscription is unknown, but it was written on books that arrived to the library as a consequence of the Napoleonic suppression of Italian religious orders in 1801.
