Sixteenth-century blind-stamped binding, with two foredge clips and clasps, and remains of two brown leather straps. Fragment pastedowns at either end, two leaves from a thirteenth-century manuscript copy of Justinian's 'Digestum' with commentary, likely from Bologna. Red leather tabs at the foredge mark the start of the first two texts in the binding, and probably the tab for the start of the third was once present, now missing. Manuscript titling on spine in black ink. Note on the front flyleaf recto states 'Einband: Köln, Karthäuser, 1 Gruppe, Kyriss 16, Taf 33, Stempel 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, dazu kleine Lilie in Raufe'.
